S16mm Film Cinematography Workshop
THIS ERA informally invites cinematographers, camera assistants, directors, artists and enthusiasts to join in a full day workshop in S16mm Film Cinematography. Participants will be introduced to the medium from A to Z; buying a fresh can of film until getting it ready to be processed and scanned by the lab. We will go through the theory, go through the equipment and then get our hands dirty: go outside and shoot some film!
We will be working in a small group (4 participants) so that everyone has enough time to practice with the material. Participants will receive a digital copy of their footage when it comes back from processing and scanning at the lab.
DATE: November 2025
TIME: 10 AM – 5 PM
LOCATION: LAB111, Arie Biemondstraat 111, Amsterdam
PRICE: 175 EUR (ex. BTW/VAT) (film and labcosts included) (participants under the age of 21 are exempt from BTW/VAT charges)
